APARTMENT A7

New Delhi / 2025 / Area 2500 sq. ft.

Team: Vritima, Pratyush, Piyush

In New Delhi, this 2,500 sq. ft. apartment is the designer’s own residence, conceived as an exploration of quieter living. The project reflects a shift toward serenity and restraint, prioritising longevity, personal meaning and an understated design approach over overt expression.

The home is defined by a calm, tactile language. Natural lime-plastered walls, warm oak and muted finishes form a cohesive backdrop for artworks, heirlooms and collected objects. The palette and materiality create depth while maintaining a sense of modernist clarity.

The living and dining spaces unfold as fluid, intimate zones shaped by light and proportion. Pared-back furniture and carefully composed vignettes allow art and objects to anchor the spaces without visual excess, creating an atmosphere that feels composed yet lived-in.

Private areas are designed as quiet retreats, minimal in expression but rich in sentiment. Bedrooms and contemplative corners accommodate personal artefacts with ease, reinforcing the home’s character as an ongoing dialogue between memory, design and everyday life.
