Crafted as a dialogue between jewellery and storytelling, Outhouse by Project 810 is a 1,000 sq. ft. retail space in an upscale neighbourhood of Hyderabad. Conceived as a sensorial journey, the store translates the brand’s confident spirit into a spatial narrative. Lime-washed greys, muted whites and salmon pink tones form the foundation for an immersive retail experience that feels refined.

Minimal yet richly layered, the store unfolds like a textural ballad. Muted surfaces converse seamlessly with brass inlays, terrazzo floors and curated artworks, creating a space that is indulgent without excess. The overall essence balances flamboyance with restraint, allowing the jewellery to take centre stage while the architecture quietly amplifies the brand’s liberated and capricious identity.

The retail floor is revealed as a cavernous composition of textures and tones. Lime-washed walls, white terrazzo flooring with glass and mirror chips, and full-height white-ash shelving form a cohesive backdrop for display. Dusty salmon feature walls punctuate the space, while gunmetal-finished steel racks and metallic-backed shelves provide a focused environment for showcasing jewellery.

Movement through the store is guided by soft curves and rounded edges that lend a sense of fluidity. Near the entrance, a curved mild-steel display unit with hanging rods welcomes visitors inward. Throughout the space, open shelving is rhythmically interspersed with glass display boxes and terrazzo platforms, allowing for varied scales of engagement—from browsing to intimate viewing of statement pieces.

Towards the heart of the store, tailor-made glass vitrines supported on mild-steel frames rest on terrazzo bases, while ashwood shelves with metal backdrops add subtle sheen. Adjacent to the cash counter, a series of backlit circular displays showcase eyewear, reinforcing the brand’s playful character. The terrazzo-finished cash counter appears to emerge organically from the floor, echoing the language of the display platforms.

The experience is heightened through layered lighting and visual merchandising. Ambient illumination sets the mood, while focused spotlights highlight precious accessories. A clear glass façade with seamless white stone offers a glimpse into the interior, setting the tone from the street. Outhouse Hyderabad emerges as a composed blend of flamboyant jewellery and restrained storytelling, celebrating craftsmanship and material finesse.
