Nagar House
The Nagars approached our studio in 2012 to renovate one zone of their house and extended to most of the areas. The project scope included complete renovation of their interior spaces and façade. The intent of the project was to use timeless and good quality materials to re-create their spaces.
All interior areas have been renovated with high quality Italian marbles, high end lighting fixtures and solid wood furniture. The Dining area is characterized with stone top dining table made with a single slab of marquino. Klove chandeliers and chairs from Urbanist complete the set.

The wall is highlighted with 3 Sanjhi cut paintings that have been customised specially for the Nagars by Sanjhi artists from Mathura. The stairways highlighted with Pichwais lead us to the master bedroom. Grey and beige tones highlight the bedroom space. Inlit shelves and detailed furniture make the space a cosy one to be in. The terrace and entertainment zones were done in the last leg of re-modelling. Modern elements make up the entertainment zone. The terrace area has been re-done using a beautiful shotblasted stone for the floor with a sheesham wood pergola. Artwork and artefacts for the entire space has been sourced from local vendors in and around the city.
